No Credit Card for special dinners?

I made all my dining reservations on line and got all the restaurants and times I wanted.
It boggled my mind that I was never asked to give my CC number while booking Cali Grill and so on. Did Disney change his policy regarding this?

No, the policy has not changed regarding California Grill. Don't know what else you booked. Akershus is the only other restaurant you can book online that should require a credit card guarantee (excluding CRT and the dinner shows which are either paid in full or a CC guarantee for dining plan guests)

Sometimes, the online system doesn't work the way it is supposed to.
