No credit card and KTTW question

How can I back up my room charges etc. if I don't have a credit card? Can I just put cash down on my hotel account or should I expect to pay for everything at time of purchase? I have a Scotia bank debit card. Will that work in the states?

My TD and bank of Montreal debit card both work in the US. I have in the past added cash to my KTTW and also have used gift card to add $$ to the KTTW.

I'm not 100% sure but the last time we went (4 yrs ago) we used our KTTW cards in the parks for purchases and we didn't have a credit card either. We paid an invoice at the hotel each evening if I remember correctly....

You can use a credit card, cash or gift cards to secure charging privileges on your KTTW card. Your bank card will work in the US, but you can't use it like you would a credit card, since every transaction requires your pin. You might be able to pre-pay a certain amount (like cash). Usually you will get (or can ask) for an invoice which will list all of your current charges. Then you can pay them off with your bank card to keep your charging privileges good. The total amount that you are allowed to charge this way will vary according to the level of the resort you are staying at.
