No CR Availability

I just got back Dec. 9-15 from the CR and loved it. My favorite resort by far. And I wanna go back Sept. 21-27 but there is nothing available at all on dw.com. I'll take anything from Standard View to MK view. Is there a convention being held or something? Thanks if anyone can help.

Chances are it has something to do with a convention. For my families next stay there this coming August there were no rooms in any category for like the 1st 3 weeks during that month, so when a room on the Atrium Club was available from the 18th - 30th we took it right away.

Since September is a long time from now I am sure if you keep checking a room will eventually become available, so I am sure you will get something.

Unfortunately disneyworld.com is not reliable for showing availability of guest rooms. The room inventory is vast, it is highly unlikely that September is sold out. You need to call CRO for accurate availability information.

It is also possible that what you want is extremely limited because of the bounceback program of free dining for September, 2008. A whole lot of folks rebooked for September '08 to take advantage of the free dining program during that time.

For example when my family and I had our reservation at the Grand Floridian for Sugar Loaf from August 11th - 22nd, we tried to get the Atrium Club for those dates. However the website said it was sold out and when my Dad called CRO they told him the same thing.

When trying to plan this years trip I would check a resort and it would say sold out and then when I would call they would have rooms available. I am not doubting what you are saying is true, because I have read the same things you have. All I am saying is maybe with my families reservation was the expection where the website said a specific Resort was sold out for various dates and a Cast Member said the same thing when calling CRO for the same dates.

If I remember correctly, the Triathlon is the 21st to the 23rd. From my experience staying at CR during a Triathlon, it tends to be very crowded. The Triathlon is based at that resort, and it seems like a lot of the triathlon'ers stay there as well. I purposely do not stay when they hold that event. We are arriving a few days after that, and staying into October. We originally made reservations for CR for the bounceback offer when we were there, and the agent had a great deal of trouble finding what we wanted. That was in September of 07!!! We decided to change to Poly this year. But definitely keep trying, or sometimes being a little flexible in your dates helps.

I've tried for a few days to access different dates for CR in December 08...nothing is showing up available. Maybe it's because we're trying to get a reservation for a family of 2A and 5C? Are those rooms limited? I've tried just about every date in December....and nothing. Then I tried the AK Lodge and again...nothing.
