No Cooking for me tonight !!!

Youngest Ds(12) cooked for us tonight He wants to be a chef

and it was great he made Steak with herb and mushroom sauce, with mashed
potatoes and sauted courgettes carrots and squash .

What age did he start taking a serious interest in cooking? DD5 has got really interested lately and I'm going with it all the way, she loves mashing potatoes and I put her in charge of sausages on a really low gas, and she loves preparing veg for soup/stew etc....

Kieran has been interested in cooking from around 5 , for the last two years he has said he wants to be chef and would cook every night if I Let him he even has the name of his resteraunt picked out "Herberts" (was his grandads middle name and its kierans)
sounds like your DD is another chef in the making
