No confirmation?

Good morning everyone!

We finally cleared up the issue w/ the APs last week w/ Disney (Double charged us at DS), and we called and paid in full the rest of the trip. (Room ressies only). :tongue:

BUT...low and behold, we get a letter from Disney Travel yesterday with a payment envelope and an invoice for $1,275 (Full amount). I paniced and I called and the CM wasn't quite so friendly, I guess she was tired from the day, but she was really not at all friendly :eek: , anyhoo, she said that her computer says its paid and we will receive room vouchers...so...we don't get a confirmation letter? But I asked for one...Long sigh...long pause..."no, you don't...is there anything else I can help you with?" :mad: Whoa...at this point, I'm tired too, I just got home from sitting in an hour traffick from work and I though talking to someone at DISney would cheer me up a bit...:eek: I mean, I paid over $1200 and they can't fax me a piece of paper saying so? (I pd w/ my debit card so I don't have a full info statement~I should have paid w/ a check!)

Well, I couldn't deal w/ it, my DH called back spoke w/ another CM who was much nicer to him, he asked for a confirmation letter and she spoke w/ guest relations and assured him it would be faxed to us. (Same thing they said when we made our final payment via phone.) I still haven't received it.

Is it me? Am I being unreasonable? But this year's trip planning isn't going as smooth as last year when we went on our honeymoon...I'm sorry, I don't mean to ramble, I'm just...tired and fustrated. I don't think Disney CMs are as nice as they were last yr. and not as faithful...:(

I would suggest going to the Disney site and sending a complaint. I'm sure they'll follow-up and make things right!

I had the same response as you when I called to make my final payment, in August. I can't understand why they do not give you the transaction # for your payment. After all, its alot of $$. The CM just kept telling me, that my original # is my confirmation. I got off the phone, called back to make sure that the payment was applied. Overkill, I know, but it made me feel a bit better. I was paying by my debit card too. Had some unexpected expenses come up, and didn't have time to pay by mail, by the time I had the $$ again.

Everything worked out fine, and I got my room vouchers in about 10 days. Still doesn't make sense to me though.

Have a great honeymoon. I wish we were back there again, or at least planning another trip.
