No confirmation for villa deposit

As some of you know I booked a villa last friday. I booked directly with the owner who seemed very friendly and professional. Answered all of my questions well and promptly. I paid her the deposit on friday night and she promised to send me a confirmation saturday (yesterday). Well, no word from her. I sent her an e-mail yesterday saying I just wanted to be sure she recieved the payment via Paypal. Still no answer. Should I be freaking out or do you think she was just busy and forgot???
 
I wouldn't freak out just yet - I'm sure she will get on to it - she could have gone away for the weekend or be busy - give it till Monday or Tuesday, you should have a reply by then.
 
We owners would like every to fall exactly into place but some times life happens. I am sure that she had every intention to get back to you but life happened. I would give her a few days to get back to you just incase some thing needed her attention.
 
Don't worry as yet as the others have said things crop up and throw all the best laid plans into the air.Give her a little time then contact her again.

That is great to hear! There is no need to stress you will have a great vacation! You have to let us know how it was once you are home again! :goodvibes
 
Just remember: this is a single person, not a business with employees, and so sometimes things come up. If they are generally resposive, the right thing will happen within a few days, almost always.

Most of us work for a living too! So..sometimes it takes a day or so to get back to guest emails! Me, I just got back from Windsor Hills, and didn't do much email for the last 4 days, so had tons of inquiries waiting for me upon my return home. My DW did check our email every day and called me with any urgent issues or emails requiring immediate attention, and told several guests we would be getting back to them today / tomorrow, so, it's not completely uncommon, some people travel for work, for instance, or have other commitments.

You would not believe how much email I get and answer every day, but even if we're booked, I do answer every single one of them!
