No Cinderella when dining in her Castle?

My family had breakfast yesterday at Cinderella's Royal Table and we were surprised that there was no Cinderella to be found anywhere at the Castle. She wasn't downstairs taking pictures and didn't walk through while we ate. When I asked about her, quietly as we had 2 little girls with us who really love Cinderella, we were handed a little signature card. That was it. The meal, while it tasted good, was very small potions and no refill of the pastry platter was offered. When I asked for some syrup for my French toast I got an eye roll from my server but she did go and get me some. Be warned it is very much a get you in and get you out as fast as they can kind of place. As soon as one person in our group had an empty plate it was picked up and we were told that we could leave as soon as we wanted and directed to the stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs laying in a basket by the exit door was a large pile of plastic wands. We were never offered any or told to take one but we took one for each of the children in our party. A very expensive Non-Character breakfast of $300 so please be aware if you have this booked.

NO Cinderella? That's awful for the price of the meal. You'd think that if Cinderella's too sick or feeding her mice (or whatever) someone in her family, or even the Prince could fill in. I'd definitely complain about the price of the meal. It does say that another character may be there instead (and we had Stitch one day instead of the advertised Goofy), but that no one may show up-I've never heard of that. How awful!

This is why I won't go until all the princesses are back. We are going to Akerhaus instead on our trip this month.

Or Fairy Godmother. Or the mice.

It's not listed as an official character meal right now. Although Cinderella is usually there, it's not guaranteed. Just like the Beast at BOG.

You are the second person I have seen reporting this. I heard the food was pretty mediocre as well. We are booked to go here in January as one member of our party really wanted to eat inside the castle - I just sent her this info as I hope it changes her mind! I would much rather eat at Akershus and at least have a character experience for the money charged.

I definitely feel like this is a your mileage may vary sort of place. We went for breakfast and didn't feel rushed at all. And our server was amazing. Granted I probably enjoyed the experience more because it was pre-paid. I only paid for our mimosas so my brain went "that's the best 20 dollar meal I've ever had"

When we went in March (this year) for Dinner she wasn’t there. But she was waving prior to that. Maybe some staffing issue this year. I thought since we went after 9 pm she didn’t show up. For us dinner was Topolinos level and service was excellent though the meal took a long time. We thought it was worth it as they made fantastic allergy accommodations (for milk, eggs, nuts, sesame)

I feel like they were doing this at one point. I know I saw reports of it anyways.
Didn’t know that. Kids would have been so excited. Four Seasons had a meet & greet with Cinderella, Goofy and Chip & Dale (special corporate breakfast); no reason CRT couldn’t.

I'm so confused.

Why are characters present at topilinos, Akerhaus, starship cruiser, etc...but not at CRT's??? It makes ZERO sense.
Disney is selling it more as a chance to see the inside of the Castle instead of a Character great. They can still charge a crazy high price and move you through much quicker and not have to pay for a character and all her assistants. Faster turnover, less cost = more profit. I didn't know this at the time so that's why I came on here to let other guests know. It's not like Cinderella was just out sick that one day. Disney is currently not using her at the Castle.

This is definitely new(ish). She was there in April, but April was forever ago....
What time in April? We went March 31st I believe and she wasn’t there. Recent review (2 weeks ago) also I don’t see her:

End of April, right after they dropped the distancing at character meets. She was in the foyer, so while not "in" the restaurant, you definitely met her, got her autograph and photo before you went up.

I went in June, it was our first time. What a disappointment. She was on break when we were seated, so they took us downstairs mid-meal for a photo interaction. There was a giant line.

Food was mediocre, I thought Be Our Guest was much better. Price was embarrassing. I'm not sure we will be back ever.

I had seen the old videos of the princesses circulating, and I guess I expected that. Nope. Hollywood and Vine was better and nowhere near the cost.
