No Children Trip, Nov. 13-17

I'll be at WDW Nov. 1-17, but I'll have my 8 month old niece. My sister and I weren't going to take her, but my mom's going now, and she talked us into taking her. She's a good baby though. My mom is turning 51 the 16th. 48 days to go!!!

my girlfriend and I are going childless nov 7 through the 16th, while my two children are trying to make me feel guilty its not working. we took them for a week last april and stayed at the boardwalk. my son never recovered from the lost time at school (he's in high school) so theres no way we can do that again. that helps with the guilt knowing i'm doing the right thing. also were taking them on a cruise on feb break so they deffinitly have something to look forward too. We are meeting my parents while we are there and my mom is celibrating her 74th bday.......but alas she wont be childless she'll have me!

We did our first childless trip to WDW in May. Our kids were a little mad at us for leaving them behind until they found out it rained the whole trip. Which would have made it miserable for all of us had they been there, but since it was just the adults it was great.

It was so nice to not have to worry about potty stops, diaper bags, strollers and crabby kids.

When we would tell people we were going without the kids we would get looks of horror. As if we didn't love our kids enough to take them. I would then tell people that the kids have been to Disney 6 times in 5 years, so don't feel too bad for them. :rotfl:

Have fun! You see things you have never seen before when you can actually take the time to see things.

DH-to be and I will be going to Disney Nov. 6-9, without kids, but that's definitely because we don't have any yet. I'm in the process of convincing him that Disney is not just for kids, but for inner children as well so that when we do have children, I can still convince him to go with ME to Disney without them on occassion. I'm so glad there are other couples out there to show him the way. ;)
