No check in text?

Hi all,
I'm on the DME on my way to CSR. I checked in online a few days back. I had looked this morning and there was no room assigned. After I landed i opened the app and I have a room #. I never got a text or email, should have I? I plan to proceed to my room but wanted to check in with you all.

Not everybody gets a room ready text. Disney IT at it's finest. But since your room number is showing, you should be able to Bypass The Front Desk and go directly to your room.

I got my email and text with my Bldg/Room Number .............
.......... 11 pm the night before I was checking out ....
....... they certainly haven't ironed it out yet.

We never got ours at Beach Club last Fall. I just stopped by the desk when we got there.

I thought part of the new MDE upgrade was so you can see your room number on the app since there were so many issues with text/email.

One of the other reasons that Disney wants to provide these notifications is because Disney will not text/phone international numbers. It is always so fun to tell someone when they ask for your number, sorry I'm Canadian can I have a pager?

Which drives me nuts seeing as it's even the same country code.

It comes down to dollars and cents. Disney isn't going to pay 2 to 5 dollars per international travel party per week.

Fyi just to let you all know my room wss ready. I did swing by the desk since I was walking past and there was no wait. They confirmed my room was ready. It couldn't have been ready long, the fan was still on in the bathroom. Unfortunately I need to go back to the desk, my requested crib/pack n pay wasn't in my room. Luckily my little guy isn't coming until Friday. Lots of time to work it out.

Just an FYI for anyone reading this. When you request a pack-n-play you are just letting them know you want one and they can plan accordingly. You still have to call housekeeping from your room and they will bring it to you. It will not be in the room when you first arrive.

This feature is THE best update to that app yet! We rarely receive the room ready texts so this is super helpful!

It's possible but thankfully it was ready. I have been here 16 hours and still no text.

Thank you for posting that! I requested a pack and play for my DS for our August trip. I would have just assumed there were none left!
