No characters at Chef Mickey's on Christmas?

I made a breakfast ADR today and noticed in the e-mail it stated:

Time: XXX (does not include Characters)


Are there no characters at Chef Mickey's on Christmas Day?

Yes, there are characters. This sounds like another instance of the Disney website being wrong.

Thanks, we've been there a couple times right after Thanksgiving, once with DS who is now 6, and I also took him around New Year's, but he doesn't remember seeing the Osborne lights or much else. Looking forward to seeing both boys reaction to those in particular. And it will be so nice to leave freezing temps here, and hopefully, have pleasant weather greeting us in Florida. DW and I had talked about doing this at some point, and having APs right now, figured now was as good as any.
