Well, today was a no buy day until I was checking on line for my DS16's college course bill.. it was there so I paid it in full today!!!! (he takes the college challenge course and gets college credit and the credits are dirt cheap but count towards his degree!!!!!)...

So, we are 3 kids down and tuition FREE til AUGUST!!!

Went to target for cough meds for DD#2 and tape. Spent $28... Got got hats for $0.60 each for party favors for bday but no tape!!!!! Grocery $53 for dinner-pizza, salad stuff for moms and great gma-99! bday party on sat, and a movie.

Nan, I know. We got side tracked by cheap bday goodies. I'm so mad! I have to go to walmart tomorrow to see if they have gloves or mittens still. So I will get tape. I need it to wrap my orders! Ugh!

Tape is the top of the list.. do NOT attempt to look for the mittens/gloves until the tape is in the cart!!!! Good luck on your mission!!

I think that has got to be the most frustrating feeling ever. I know, I do it ALL the time. DH always says I am the only one, so I am at least glad to know that is not true. I hope you actually remember the tape today; I've been known to go 3 or 4 times to get x & come home with a,b,y & z each time, but still no x! Happy tape shopping today!

2/5-$28.97 Target-misc stuff $7.20 was for bday supplies, $50 to hold ice rink for bday, $52.34 Groceries- stuff for saturdays bday party.
2/6- $35.91 Walmart $5 for gloves for bday- rest was valentines for kids,bday gift for 99 yo gma

2/11-$103.51(saved 67.73) Fred Meyer. $20.47 was edible, DD#3 loves the expensive veggie chips and pirate booty stuff, it was on sale. Rest was Valentines, the kids all got new clothes or shoes, DBF got new pj pants, and some kitchen gadget. All was on clearance except kitchen gadget and DD#3's pants.

2/13-$15 starbucks- coffee and 2 $5 gift cards for teachers, $29.58 groceries(saved $21) $8.57 for bday party. Sallys for hair color $11.80 got free developer and free nail polish.

Yesterday was a no buy day.
Today I spent $92 and change at the grocery store.
Wednesday I will be spending $400-500 at the truckload sale.
Can't beat 96 cents per pound on drumsticks and 99 cents per pound on thighs. I will by enough hamburger, pork chops and chicken to last 45-50 meals.

Doing pretty good this month.. with the bitter temps I go out long enough to drop the DS12 off and pick DS12 up from school..... so I don't spend money...

I met my goal of 12 No buy days and will actually exceed it!

UGh, totally blew the month, DH had to buy a new cell phone this weekend.

So I need to go back to a no buy day for the rest of the month, except for Thursday. Picking up a used Expression from a friend.
