I've been reading that Mama Melrose doesn't provide bread anymore w/ their meals. Is this true????? How is it possible that an Italian restaurant doesn't give you bread?
So, if they don't, do you have to order it separately and how does this figure into the DDP????
We were there in June and no they don't give you bread. You have to order it. I believe that it would count as an appetizer, using the DDP. All I wanted was regular italian bread and when they brought the plate out it had various breads/breadsticks on it. It was good but not really what I wanted - just bread with butter.
That's really cheap. Mama Melsrose isn't even that great of a restaurant. I think they should do what places like Carrabas do-bread, olive oil with spices, butter if you ask.
