NO BOG @ 85 days out--lunch,dinner,or b.fast. Strategies?!

Should I just keep checking & checking? We just booked this Trip, so it's not like when I have booked @ the 180 + 10 point.

Yes keep checking. You may be surprised at what pops up. I was unable to get in for BOG breakfast at the 180 mark but 2 different slots opened up around 45 days. My TA's trip starts this weekend and she was able to score a reservation within the past couple days. Quite often people will overbook ADR's and drop some as their trip gets closer.

You can keep checking, but your best chance will be within the final few days before your trip. On three different occasions I have scored BOG ADRs (two lunches; one dinner) within a day or two of leaving for my trip. Evidently it is fairly common for people to cancel ADRs within that time frame. Good luck!

ETA: This past trip I also had my two teenagers checking the MDE app frequently, so that whichever of us found one first could book it. #strengthinnumbers

Just keep checking back. We booked maybe 120 days out and we since scored two lunches at BOG. I'd just go over every hour or so on the app and look again.

Just keep checking. BOG gets booked 180 days in advance, but people cancel all the time.

I have never made a BoG reservation at 180 days out, but then again I've never made any disney ADR 180 out That said, somehow we have eaten lunch and dinner at BoG (the breakfast prices don't interest me). Day of or day before ADR's pop up all the time. I just looked online and tomorrow for example there is a 9:30 breakfast time open. As long as you are flexible on when you go its not an issue.

I normally can get one either the day before or same day as people cancel like crazy last minute.

Since the implementation of the 24 hour cancellation fee, I have made most of my BOG reservations the night before

How many are in your party? Since breakfast and lunch are QS and you can choose your table, if you are able to split up your party (say to 2 and 2 or 1 and 3 if you are a party of 4) you can simply look for times that are near each other, order your food and then sit together. We did this with BOG breakfast (got two reservations for 1 person for a party of two) and then just sat together after we ordererd our food.

Be aware that this reservation is on a party night, which will require tickets to the party to attend the dinner reservation posted.

Good point!! I'm surprised they are staying open through the Halloween party, they are closing at 7 for the christmas party.

Dumb question probably, but how do you do this? When I tried to book two very close reservations, it forced me to drop one...

You would only book the reservation for 2 of the 4 people in your party so it would still allow you to book a different reservation for the remaining two - if that makes sense.

I second this. I was able to snag a BOG dinner just a few weeks out from a fellow DIS-er.
