No Beach Club availability - April??

I have a room at the Boardwalk for 4/16-4/19, but REALLY prefer to be over at the Beach Club. I have been checking with the WDW online system almost daily for over a month, and there is never anything available. I believe the Yacht Club (I'd take that, too) has a big IBM conference going on. Do I have a prayer of getting a room at the BC?? What is the best way to try for this? Should I be calling CRO vs. doing the online thing? The 45-day mark is coming up; do you think that will make a difference as people have to cancel their packages?

I would definitely call them. I've had much more success when calling than checking online. Also, it wouldn't hurt to check when you actually arrive at WDW. Sometimes there are really last minute cancellations (has worked for us on the last two trips).

I do know that a lot of school districts around here in NJ are off that week for Spring Break, and A LOT of people are going down to WDW, figuring it's not before/after Easter and it won't be a crowded. I think they're going to be suprised how many people are going to be there. With Easter being so early a lot of schools decided to delay spring break until the week of Passover this year. I'm hopeful for our trip (week after Easter) will be less crowded than last year as a result.

The end of the week you are going is the beginning of the spring break in much of new england and ny. Lots of people will be arriving on the 18th and 19th. Could be busy because of this. But I would call rather than use the web site. Never real sure how accurate the web site is.

I just called CRO and, while there is still no availability, they recommended I call back within the 5-day window as there are often cancellations. Thanks for the advice -- I'll check with CRO just before we take off for Florida.

I know my boys would LOVE the BC pool!
