No availability for a MK shoot :(

I just heard back and for October - the only dates they have slots are 17, 19, 21, and 22 - so if you want October you need to be quick!

I am so sorry!

It makes sense that November would be booked in the year 2011. 11/x/11 has got to be popular for weddings.

I hope you're able to figure out an acceptable alternative or you can just keep calling and hope something gets canceled or switched and a spot opens for you.

Im so sooooooo sorry that their is no availability. I understand how dissapointed you must feel. I would recommend putting your self on a waiting list because you never know. ;)
Many people cancel all the time or have to make unexpected changes, that may work in your favor.
I don't know where you are budget wise, but instead of changing the date of your wedding, maybe you can revisit and have the photo shoot at a later time. Once you have your wedding at the world you can come back later and have the MK shoot done. I can understand wanting to have it during the time of your wedding, but if it really is that important to you and you can wing it, I would totally have the MK shoot.
Their are great locations for photography, Epcot, The Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, but if your hearts at MK go with that. We almost had to have at a later time too. We were originally booked for one day and then we received a phone call telling us that they had double booked the day and we had to change it. We were able to do it during our stay, but had it not been available even If I were a bit disappointed to have to wait a bit longer I would have still done it because I have dreamt of having this photo shoot for the longest time.

I really hope all goes well! :lovestruc

You should call back ASAP. I am getting married on October 31, 2011 and was able to book a shoot for the second week of November this week. It was the only one available that fit with our honeymoon schedule and all the tours and dining we have planned, but the woman I spoke to said that they just recently changed it to 2 couples per shoot instead of one. When I first inquired about the MK shoot I also was told it wasn't avaiable and it broke my heart. I hope this helps and one is available. I am really in it for Haunted Mansion photos and have not even been able to find out if I will be able to take them due to construction at that time. I was told to inquire the day of, which kind of threw me because it is a large motivator to shell out the money.

Best wishes and congratulations.

So, we booked our MK shoot for November, when the pickings were slim. (We got a week exactly after our wedding...) DF isn't too keen on staying in Disney a whole extra week just waiting for the shoot...so do you all think it is worth trying to call DFAP again to see if the second slots on a closer day would be worth it/available? Do you think they'll keep it this way? I'm just really worried that if I scrap the day we're booked for and then change it to a day where there's 2 couples in the park...that something will change and we'll loose our spot. :confused3

What day, I have my shoot on Nov. 7th....

Yay - thanks :cloud9:

I think they now have 2 slots in November and that's how we managed to get a spot - but with all the changes I could be wrong :confused3

I know, it's confusing with all the changes. Our shoot is in October and I emailed my planner when I heard about the changes but my email seems to be having problems so I can't read the response. I just want to know what time we are because I have already booked hair and make up and will need to let them know about the changes :confused3 But mega congrats to you :)
