No availability at Poly Nov. 3-8?

We're going to be at the Poly Nov. 3-8. I made our reservations way back in May and have paid deposit and everything. My question is this..........if you go on Disney's website, you cannot get any availability of rooms at the Poly--no concierge, no GV no LV....NOTHING!!! Does that mean that the resort is going to be totally packed?!! I thought that November was an unbusy time. Do you think it might be that the room renovations that Tikiman talked about a month or so ago will be taking place and they've blocked off or closed so many rooms in each longhouse to start the renovations? Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. No matter what, we're planning on still having a magical Disney time.. Thanks...

It appears that week will be somewhat busy. Those dates coincide with the "Jersey Week" - a week that many people from New Jersey go to DisneyWorld. (Me included ) Also it is near Veteren's Day and Election Day, and Epcot's Food and Wine Festival, so lots going on then! I am not surprised that there is no availability that week (especially the Friday/Sat nights) at prime resorts. I booked my room at Wilderness Lodge back in May, too, since I knew it would be busy.

Also, when all those codes came out recently, I don't remember reading about anyone who here who got a discount covering the Nov 3-8 dates. No discounts available for those dates indicate the resorts were pretty full at rack rate!

Either way, I am going to WDW and I will have a magical trip, too!

I'm at Poly GV, 11/6-11 and got AP rate of 209 (220 w/tax). I've checked back to see about GVC and told booked solid. But in playing around on line, it's the 6th that's booked up. After that there is availability.

I really don't know if I want to stay there or switch (back) to AKL. However, can't get Concierge there on the 6th with any kind of discount but again, opens up on the 7th.

We were planning for that weekend because it's also Veterans Day holiday for our school. Booked, then found out that it is Super Soap at MGM for all the ABC Soap Operas. Apparrently its a mob scene with people trying to see the celebs. We rescheduled for next week.
