No AP Discount for October available?

Wanted CR CL TPV for Columbus weekend but nothing for AP - I have the room reserved - was hoping for something

Can you not check online? That's how I found my room for October.

I already have a reservation with no discount. How do I find the AP rates online? I'm not really sure if I find an AP room online do I just book it and then cancel my other reservation?

I've found the easiest way is to go to where it says see special offers. If you have noted that you are a passholder yo should be able to see offers in the list that say passholder. I click on there and follow the prompts. You can also call and they will verify your status and tell you if there's a discount available.

Right now AP is pulling up $261 per night for a Royal View Garden Room for your date... which is the only room at POR besides a pool view. Sounds like you got a better deal. Rates are all over the place. AKL only has Savanna bunk bed rooms available and they are $450.

The thing with AP is if they think they can get a standard discount (or no discount) from someone they will take that over an AP rate so they don't put all the rooms in the AP "pool" to offer.

Dates make a huge difference. I doing one last trip on my AP before it expires in Sept. I am going August 26-29. I have two nights book via DVC points at AKL. But the other night I have Yacht Club... Standard for $230. This is my "deluxe" hotel trip and other are new hotels for me to try!
