Evening all, Just got a letter today form MS stating that due to FEMA's recovery efforts from the last 2 years of hurricanes, the beach in Indian River County will be going through some major sand restoring in November. Construction vehicles will pass through Disney property for the duration of this project. Oh, Oh, while I think it is wonderful to restore the beautiful beaches, I have booked my daughter and friends for a much needed College Thanksgiving break! (work will be suspended on Sunday and Nov. 23-27. My daughter is there the 18th to the 24th) Any CM's out there that know any more information on this? Will this be done in sections? What public beaches will be open? I have a few emails out to the Indian River County offices, but was hoping one of you guys might have more info also. Thanks for any help!

When we were there in March they were doing the same thing. Only part of the beach was closed at various times. Hopefully it will be the same for you.
Good Luck
