I spoke with my AAA travel agent today, who said she can book me a "room only basic package" for now, and then add on when Disney announces the 2007 package rates later this summer. However, the rate she quoted me was the full price with no AAA discount. Apparently, this cannot be added until Disney releases the packages.
My quote for 6 nights was $161 a night at POFQ for January 7-13. What sort of AAA discount do you think I can expect? She said at least 10%, but it could be up to 20%.
I'm going to have to book blindly now so I can get in before my 180 days hits (on Tuesday.) Character meals will be a big part of our trip, so I'd like to have this out of the way now.
