Shockingly, we did not get to FP+ A&E once our window to do so opened. We're resigned to the fact that we'll have to wait on line.

What's the best strategy to use to ensure we're not on line for too long. [Short of running people over, that is].

How do they even control the rush of people headed to A&E??

Hi, sorry you didn't get your FP. There is still hope! Get there to the gate at least an hour before the park opens. When they open the gate, a line of cast members will walk the line of people back to Anna and Elsa so that no one will run ahead.

Staying on property at the Art of Animation, do you know what time the buses/shuttles start running to the MK in general?
Is there a certain/specific area to line up for A&E, exclusively? Or is it just a manner of controlled chaos?
Thank you!!

Sorry about the lack of FP+ availability for A&E :sad2:

When is your trip?

Disney seems to keep changing the morning procedure for this so I would keep watching the boards for info and then ask this question again about a week before you go. That way you will have the most up-to-date info :)

Also, if you're up to it, keep checking for those FP's, you might just find some!

Have a great trip pixiedust:

Definitely plan on checking the FPs day in, day out, at work, on the work commute, etc, etc, etc..

Thanks!

When we were there in May (and I believe they're still doing it this way), they controlled the rush by CMs holding a rope (actually 2 or more) and leading it down Main Street. The rope line separates to go up the left & right stairs at the castle. Then, like a Playdoh Fun Factory of humanity, the ropes re-join and lead the crowd through the castle entrance and out the other side.

If you want to be at the front at rope drop, I'd be at the MK entrance 45-60 minutes early and go stand as close to one of the entrances as possible. Then stay behind the CM holding the rope and hang on like grim death--not literally hang on, but it gets hairy as that throng jostles and pushes its way down Main Street and through the castle.
