New ADR system wants your WDW resort # to verify you are staying at a WDW resort.

The Dolphin does not qualify for the 90 day plus ten rule for ADRS.

We will go to WDW in 2010 for the week before and after Easter.
So we can only make our ADR's one day at a time.

It will 81 days before for Easter Sunday ADR.
Do you think we can still get a Chef Mickey's breakfast and a Garden Grill dinner ADR on Easter Sunday 2010 ?

What about day 79 before Good Friday ADR.
Do you think we can get Coral Reef for lunch or dinner on Good Friday 2010 ?
Other suggestions for places which serve fish for Good Friday ?

Thanks for any advice ?

What is the 90 + 10 rule?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it allows you to call 90 days from the 1st day of your vacation and book up to 10 following days of your stay if staying at a WDW resort.

What is the 90 + 10 rule?

If you are staying at a WDW resort you can call 90 days ahead of the start of your trip and make 10 days of ADRs.

Example: My trip starts April 20, I can call January 20 (or whatever the 90 day mark is) to make ADRs for April 20 + 10 days longer.

What is the 90 + 10 rule?

It means 90 days from the day you arrive, you can make ADR's for the first day and up to 10 days. So in other words, you do not have to call everyday at the 90 day mark (for each day) that you will be there. This is only for Disney quests.

There's more to getting an ADR than just the date. Others factors:
*The size of your party (parties of 4 will have an easier time than parties of 10)
*What time you want to eat (off-times are easier)
*The time of year you are going
*Popularity and size of the restaurant

And so on. It might be good to have a back-up restaurant in mind in case you don't get your first choice. Also, if you call back at 45 days out and 30 days out, you may find that some people have canceled their packages. Plus, if you keep calling right around the time of your vacation, something may open up. People change ressies all the time. There's even an "ADR wanted" post here on the Dis.

Good luck!

Correct -for WDW resort guests ONLY - lets say if 90 days before your arrival date is June 1st. Then you can make ADR's for the day of your arrival and 9 more days past the day of arrival.

But if we stay at the Dolphin - we can only make our ADR's for our day of arrival on our 90 day mark. Then wait till the next day to male our ADR's for our 2nd day in WDW, and the following day for our 3rd day in WDW.

Meanwhile for those staying at a WDW resort, they could make ADR's for their first day of their Easter weeks vacation plus 9 days more, including Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Would we not be able to get Chef Mickeys and Garden Grill on Easter Sunday and Coral Reef for Good Friday ?
Do you think they would selkl out all the ADR's on Easter Sunday and Good Friday ?

Thanks !

I have heard from many sources now that they only have a certain amount of tables open for the 90+ and open the rest up on exactly 90 days limiting the resort guests from taking up ALL the spots. I don't know the ratio however, whether they open uo more on 90+ or on 90 exactly.

Just make sure you begin calling at 6:56AM EST.

I hope they leave some ADR spaces for us who stay at the Dolphin/Swan, Miltary resort and off site.

I will be setting my clock for 7 AM EST (I think that is when the lines open for ADR's) each day.

Thank you !

I really think you just have to be a little flexible and you can get all you want! :) Be patient and call back if you have to!

I would start calling a little earlier by a couple of minutes just to make sure. I usually compete with just resort guests with my 90+ but you'll competing with everyone when it comes to those hard to get ADRs. A couple of minutes could be the difference between 6PM Le Cellier and 1:45PM, you just never know.

Good luck :goodvibes
