Noël et moi (not Mr Blobby!!)

I don’t believe it – Victor Meldrew aka megrumpy is going to spend Christmas and New Year at DLP. The journey will be easy albeit a hint of ‘planes, trains and automobiles’ with a touch of ‘home alone 1.’
I am expecting a trouble free 600 mile drive... oops woke up – now what is all that white stuff??!!
Seriously my plans are to drive to Ashford tomorrow (£29 Premier Inn) with Eurotunnel booking on Christmas Eve, staying at Residence Home Business in a junior suite that is costing me less than 1 night at Sequoia Lodge.
I will try to keep up with an ongoing trippie whilst I am there (my trippie –Queen’s speech... no contest) but as wifi is 8 euro /hour, piccies will be added when home (courtesy of my super duper new camera).
My aim – like Mr Bean looking at the portrait of Whistler’s Mother, to have a relaxed time appreciating at length the profound nuances of all things Disney.

Can't wait to hear if everything's OK with the Eurotunnel. We go on the 3rd Jan, so hope there is not too much more bad weather
