You'll have to take in consideration the lines and wait times...again depending on when you're going. I would also make a reservation at Mythos that morning or you may be waiting for a long time.

I plan everything to the t for Disney. As a result we didn't wait in a single line. We are going in January. I really would like to avoid waiting in line. I mean at Mk, when we went I got a FP for space while everyone else rode Dumbo. We did all the rides in Fantasyland, then did Big Thunder and Splash and got fp for Splash for later. I figured it would take us that long to ride everything until our 1pm Crystal Palace lunch, but it didn't. We were through with all of that by 11 or 11:30 if I remember. So we went and rode Space and Buzz before our lunch and got another fp for Space for later. At Disney, if you ride certain things in a certain order then you don't wait in line. I HATE lines. That's why I ask.

In that case you will need to purchase the VIP Express tickets to avoid the lines. You can either get the 2 park VIP Express Ticket or the seven day 2 park VIP Express Ticket. You would get unlimited Express access for all participating attractions at both IoA and the Studios for the length of your tickets. Park admission is included in the cost so you won't need to purchase separate admission tickets and the seven day tickets are ONLY available online. The cost of the tickets are as follows:

The 2 park VIP Express Ticket (7 day) is $259.99 for all ages.

That's about the only you're going to skip the lines at Universal.
