Let it be said that I needed this vacation. Working 55 - 60 hour weeks for months at a time was taking its toll on my sanity. Besides that it didn't allow me to really plan this trip, so I went with a flexible general plan.
November 11
We awaken at 4am to make sure everything is set to go for limo pickup at 6am. I call BIL to make sure they are up and ready to go. ( They live three doors down.) Our usual limo driver picks us up promptly along with the 8 pieces of check-in luggage. Yes, we are all overpackers. And away we go to the airport for our 9:30 flight from O'Hare.
5 minutes later... "I don't have my wallet!" so proclaims My Disney Apprentice. The Apprentice is about to be fired his first day on the job for such a blaring oversight. He apologizes profusely. It's okay better now than at the airport. I will take partial responsibility for not doing a system check with him before we leave. Never fear I have planned for these type of mishaps along with baggage checkin and security at O'Hare, but please don't let the rest of the trip proceed this way.
Our agenda today would be the Magic Kingdom. Because of our afternoon arrival into Disney and MK stays open until 10:00 due to Veteran's Day. I have to say overall this was a fantastic trip. More to come soon!
