NLIC'd for CP today - anyone else NLIC or still Pending?

I looked at my Dashboard this morning and was still in progress at 8:45, looked again before leaving for work and no longer in consideration. I had received 3 pending emails so hoped I was still in the running but maybe next time. I saw on the Facebook page that there were lots of NLIC's received today so I was wondering if anyone else received the same news or are still being considered?

My daughter just go NLIC today after being pended for about three weeks.She is really taking it hard.I wish they'd let you know where you fell short.She has experience as a lifeguard as well as four years quick service food.We are all Disney veterens with her visiting over twenty times in her twenty years.

Bribrittmom they will. Let the final day of being notified go by and you can call the Disney Recruiting Office and they will let you know why you were denied, if there is any specific reason why.

I know some roles are very limited in how many people are accepted. I believe lifeguard is one of them. That doesn't make it any less hard on your daughter though. Especially if she has a ton of related experience. Did she also apply for QSFB?

I got accepted last year, but declined because I was offered Attractions which wasn't even on my list (probably because I have an extensive customer service background).

This year, I specifically wanted either Costuming or Character Attentant, and made sure to mention in my interview those where the only roles I would consider. I've heard that these roles also fill up quickly with few openings available.

I think what makes it hard for me is that I was pended for 9 weeks. It's hard to make plans for the next quarter when I'm waiting for that long for an answer.

you can also have her email them to ask how she can boost her resume(i know she didnt send one in, but thats what others have asked them) some have gotten responses, others havent. but i think the majority of the time they do give an answer.

and really i am fine with not getting in. my husband and i are trying to move closer to our family so we have been job hunting and finding a place to live.

I'm so sorry! My daughter cried for two days.Sometimes it doesn't make any sense about who gets denied and who gets accepted.I really think the interviewer has a lot of clout.I'm sure some are better and geting people accepted than others.
