NJ Week, worse than summer?

What is so funny about the responces to tis post is everyone who says "Oh it's not bad at all" "Not crowded" are mostly from NJ. haha
We usually go the first week in December but last year we were there 11/3-11/11 and we felt like the minority being from the midwest. We are used to December crowds so for us it was crowded especially when you factor in Super Soap Weekend, and the Food and Wine Festival.

That's because the most crowded day in WDW is still less crowded then Jersey.

We are used to December crowds so for us it was crowded especially when you factor in Super Soap Weekend, and the Food and Wine Festival.

I think it's all relative. If you've been to WDW in June thru Aug, then Jersey Week feels like a breeze ! Same if you go during major holidays (Easter--did this one year....never again !) or Christmas/New Years.
But I'd have to agree, having been to WDW in the first 2 weeks of Dec, Jersey Week will feel a tad more crowded. I've also been to WDW the end of Jan/beginning of Feb and the place was dead ! Loved warming up from the frigid Philadelphia weather during that time.
I can tell you one thing......from a DVC perspective, there's no room at any of the "inns" right now for the first week of Nov. I tried to upgrade to a 2 bedroom from a 1 bedroom (or even add on a studio to my 1 bedroom and there's nada ! I'm on a waitlist and not holding my breath). Not sure about all the other Disney hotels.

We love when people say they'd never go back during "Jersey Week"-the lines are shorter for us Jersey People. Maybe the ride lines don't seem that long to us because were used to driving home with all the "bennies" and THAT ride home can take 3 hours . So, a 20-30min line is like nothing to us. We just act like were negotiating the circle-close your eyes,say a prayer, and STAND on the gas.....everything will be fine
You guys are too funny. I try and juggle my vacation away from SuperSoap weekend-I think THAT is terrible. Well, this thread was good for a laugh today-thanks I needed it!

My friend was there last year for "Jersey" week and didn't even know it. She said there was low to no lines and the weather was perfect. I'm looking forward to it!

PoohPiglet, that was pretty funny! My BIL & SIL live there, so I knew some of them! Those circles are deadly!! I'm always nervous dring in Jersey!! Who said...say a prayer close your eyes and hit the gas?! LOL

Here's another NJ family going for "NJ week". Heard from a co-worker that went last year that crowds were not a a problem. Anyway, most past trips were in the summer, so this has got to be better.
