Just got back from the Jersey Shore. Let me just say, I saw my life pass before my eyes once and maybe twice. When you are in the crosswalk that seems to be the signal for NJ drivers to gun it and see if they can beat you when making a turn before you finish crossing the street! Oh man don't mess with me when my kids are crossing the streeT!! It was so bad, I wouldn't let my 14 year old cross the street alone, they had to call us from the mini-golf place so I could walk down and meet them. What a change from vacationing in New England where they stop in all directions when you are ten feet from the curb. Since I spent my first 22 years in NJ I feel qualified to bash your horrible driving skills.
(Yes, I live in NJ.)
Meaning us stepping off the curb. I was in FL 15 years...cars will slam on the brakes to stop when someone is crossing the street. Now in VA, I see I'm back to dodging cars!
They don't stop here.
