About 10 minutes south of AC here and it POURED!! There was a tornado warning along with the heavy thunderstorms. It's seems to have stopped now and it has cooled off nicely, no more humidity!!

Me too. We're outside of Atlantic City on the mainland; torrential downpour and windy starting around 5:20, then it rained for a while. There was one giant clap of thunder about 6:25, and that was the end of it. We really could use more rain, but the decrease in heat and humidity is a welcome relief. Yesterday was uncomfortable everywhere..even at the beach..air conditioning had a hard time keeping up with the heat. Today was better, but tonight is wonderful.

Sorry, you said Fredericksburg and its funny b/c we are planning on stopping there on our way down to Disney next month just to sleep. How is the area?

Just have to laugh..we are from nj and IN fredricksburg right now!! we are at the comfort suites and it did not rain here tonight.
I was checking to see how nj made out... LOVE the Balloon festival, i am sorry we missed it this year

Exit 137 from GSP. Poured at one point but couldn't tell you what time it was. I was just glad when it stopped the crazy heat had gone with it.

very, very nice! it was $103 for the night with my aaa discount. we have 5 of us in the room and we get free breakfast. it is right off of 95

Just had to add, went down for breakfast and saw a lot of boy scouts!

Why am I not surprised. Dh is working the jambo and was in fredericksburg to see a movie the other night.
