I am scheduled to fly out of Atlantic City airport this June and my flight got moved up 3 hrs and now it leaves @ 7:30 am. I was going to have someone drop us off at the airport but now it seems to early to ask. My new plan is to get a room (hopefully really inexpensive) near the airport and stay the night before. If you book a room at a hotel can you leave your car there for the length of your trip? I think my SIL does this in Philly sometimes but I wasn't sure. I would love to not have to pay parking at the airport since we are going to be away for 14 days!

Leaving my car in the parking lot of an "inexpensive" hotel, near AC, just sounds like a BAD plan. :rolleyes2 No offense intended. Would it be possible to have someone drive you to the hotel the day before your flight? You would then be able to get a taxi or shuttle to the airport in the AM.

I would try Rapid Rover shuttle. I have used them to get back and forth from Southampton/Medford/Shamong area to both the Philly airport and Amtrak's 30th Street Station, also in Philly. We like their service to 30th St Station better because it is only your party and a flat fee no matter how many people in your party go. I know they shuttle people all around South Jersey and one driver said he drove a group to Cape May. Their website is RapidRover.com. I am not sure if they service out to Brick but it is worth a shot - you can also call them at 1-800-322-8062 if calling from South Jersey. I have been using them for a little over 20 years and highly recommend them. They also have an Atlantic City line at 609-344-0100 - not sure if that is for AC airport or AC itself, but they do service that area. Have a great trip!

LOL - Probably NOT my best idea! If I am going to stay somewhere overnight though, having someone drive me the night before may work out well. Thanks so much!

Plenty of hotels near airports offer park, sleep and fly deals. In fact, this is something I want to do for my next trip since I like to take early morning flights. I don't see how it's any different than parking at an off-site parking place.

We're doing a stay, park, fly at the Newark airport for April school vacation,:cool1:
Newark - Springhill Suites by Marriott parking for 14daÿs included for $145 total. :teacher:
There are a lot of other places between $100 -$200.:surfweb:
Good luck all,
Joe

Yeah, well, A.C. airport isn't exactly an international destination, despite its official name... There is no airport hotel. There is no offsite parking. There are quite a few fleabag motels in a row though on the White Horse Pike... I can't think of a place within 5 miles of the airport that would be worthy of a recommendation. (Not saying there isn't any, just that nothing springs quickly to mind as decent in the area).

I think in this case, a shuttle service from home very early the morning of makes sense.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2. Nailed it!

Maybe one of the AC casino/hotels might be an option if someone drives you down the day before. If you aren't staying on a weekend night there are some good rates and would be better than a White Horse Pike hotel
