Assume you're talking about Nintendo DS' here rather than WIIs ???

Nintendo DS - only problem is they'll have a US plug on the charger but you can buy a replacement over here for about £5. Games all work fine. Pretty much same price in dollars over there as pounds here...

As for WIIs, they are region coded so games from US wont work on UK machine and vice versa...

Bought a DS Lite for my son's girlfriend a couple of weeks ago in Florida Mall. It's a funky red and black one - v-e-r-y cool! :thumbsup2

I've got one and am 24 so not just for kids! I love the 42 games in one and brain training! Someone was saying on the money saving website that Asda had a good deal on this weekend.

Mrs B bought one of hte Red and Black one's in August. Very cool much nicer than the boring plain one in hte UK.

All works fine - we got a UK adaptor for it from Ebay for a £4 delvered. All works fine.

Games wise - The 'Game Stop' shop in Mall at Millenia always have range of games in their pre-owned cabinet. We got Madden 06 for $10 amongst others. Worth a look for cheap additional games.

Yeah!

ASDA are selling them for £94.98 with TWO games THIS WEEKEND ONLY. A great price

Great will take a look! I have told DH they are not just for kids :)

If you are at Downtown Disney have look in the Virgin shop. They have games there that I've not seen at home and work fine on our DS. My son bought "Suite Life-Zac and Cody" and its great. Not a game I'd seen before over here. It was $25 but with the great exchange rate was cheaper than the latest games back in the UK.:thumbsup2

Florence, is it for yourself? I have been looking at one too but DH says they are for kids!:rotfl:

I'm 44 and my DH bought me a pink one for my birthday in June! Definitely not just for kids!!! :thumbsup2

I know someone who got one for their 60th birthday and haven't put it down since :cool1:

If anyone is looking for the HSM game I saw it instore in Tesco for £21.99 which was £3 cheaper than I had found online in UK.

My mum has one and she plays on it at some part of every day:thumbsup2

Jill, yes it is. DH thinks they are for kids too. Although it doesn't stop him playing his PSP 3 or Wii. I fancy the brain training games.

The brain training games are fab:thumbsup2 They are certainly not for kids. I use my mum's quite a lot and love it, in fact, I am thinking of getting one for myself:yay:
