Got excited to get in on a lightning deal and got my son the midnight blue DSI XL for the $139.99 from amazon. Planning on returning it since my son has his heart set on the red Mario one. Do you know how much shipping would be to return it to Amazon? Thanks.

Has it shipped already? You may be able to cancel the order through Amazon.

If not, I'm guessing shipping back will range from $10-15, depending on the carrier you choose.

Or-- you could do your friends a favor and offer to them first? I did that last year with a DSLite I got from Amazon but did not need... I had many a friend willing to take it off my hands for what I paid for it! Just a thought... I posted it on Facebook.

Can you just refuse to accept the package? I think it goes back to Amazon with no s/h charge.

If you go into "your account" and "your orders" it will give you the retun options when you view the order - start a return and it will show you the prepaid shipping cost they will charge if you send it via their prepaid way (this cost will be deducted from the credit you will get). You can opt to prepay shipping and send it you choice of ways.
