Nintendo DS?

Any good deals on Nintendo DS systems or games? Is there any difference between the DS and the DSi? Has anyone gotten a used one through Game Stop? I was just worried if buying used would be a good option since kids will be pushing on the screen. TIA!

we got a dsi for our son which looked brilliant
takes pictures etc
but it doesn't take the r4 card so we took it back and got a ds lite
it saves soooo much money being able to use the r4 card to download games from the internet
thats my only input

We bought the DS at gamestop. Looked at their used ones. Inspect carefully they are all the same price but in varied conditions. We opted for the new one which has a 1 year warranty. The used ones only 30 day warranty I believe. You can purchase a 1 year protection but then you are paying nearly the same price as the new one.

The DS plays Gameboy Advance games and the DSi does not. The DSi seems great for the older set, (all it's missing is a phone in it) but the Ds works great for the younger kids. Nonje of my kids need the DSi yet and the oldest is 15. I stil want to monitor her internet use.
