Hi, just a quickie, I'm hopefully going out in August and am wondering;

I own a Nintendo DS and although they should be region free, has anyone tried a US game in a UK console and whether it worked?

Any response is greatly apprieciated, its the difference between me buying some more before we go or buying some out there (better selection and cheaper). Im only asking so early since I need o figure out how much money I'm gonna need to save up since I doubt I will be going back in a while!

As far as i know they are region free, i use a Japanese DS with english games (which is why i keep getting asked where i got a blue DS)

US games will work. And they are much cheaper - most games $30 or so. Good luck with your saving!

I have a blue DS (with a nice blue vans sticker to match) and its an English one, or are you talking about the cool dark blue colour?
