Nintendo DS stylus

Anyone ever buy the generic stylus for the Nintendo DS? My kids are forever losing them, and I see you can buy generic ones pretty cheap, but I wasn't sure if they would fit properly in the holder that's on the DS.

really don't fit, as they do fall out. But with the rate that my kids loose them it doesn't matter. I bought like 15 game packs with a game and 4 of the gen. ones at walmart for $2 each one day on clearance just for the pencil things. ended up they like golf, and the trouble game.

I got a set of 15 off of eBay not too long ago and they fit as well as the actual Nintendo brand. I only paid like $2 shipped for them too, IIRC.

The intec brand fit fine. I don't know about other brands.

I got 100 off Ebay for about $3 shipped. My kids have the "old" style DS, and they don't fit. But, we just keep a couple in the case with the DS and the games.

Do you have the DS or DSI?

My DD has a DS and generic replacement styluses. They fit in the holder just fine, but stick out about 1/8 inch too far. She doesn't care, since it's in a carrying case most of the time anyway. They were much cheaper, and she tends to go through them kinda fast by laying them near her DS intending to come back in a few minutes and then forgetting that they aren't in the holder.
