If anyone has a GameBoy Advanced systems you can trade them in at GameStop and get a credit for DS Lites. I got mine for 89.99. I also added on the warranty. I am big believer in the Warranties because kids are really hard on their toys and they will give you a new one. The warranty was 20.00

Last year and the year before, I remember Brandsmart having them on sale for $88 or something like that. I want to say it was this same time of year in November. If you have one near you, check it out. I went online and didn't them listed so I'm not sure if they even carry them anymore. I'm going to check the store near me and see.

We have two GBAs, so I think I might do the trade in. I can trade the older one in and she'll still have the newer one until Christmas. I told my best friend about this last night and she said she's going to troll Ebay for a cheap GBA to trade in lol

Does the trade in have to be an SP or just Game Boy Advance? Sounds like it needs to be an SP.

For those you traded in a game boy advance. Do you have to have the charger to trade it in? DS found one at a ballgame a few years ago. No one came to claim it. We have a offbrand car charger. Thinking of trading it in for me. Something to do while waiting for baseball games to start.

When I traded in my SP, Gamestop told me I had to have the charger. It may be different for different stores though.

I'm not sure about the charger but if you do need it then you could probably find a very cheap one on ebay. I think I got my dd's for $3. It was for a DS Lite but i'm sure the gameboy ones are just as cheap.
I did want to tell you that in order to trade in the Gameboy, the serial number must be legible, it cannot be faded or scratched off.

Not sure if any of you know this...you can buy a mod chip for the DS, and download the games from the internet. You need the mod chip plus a micro sd chip. You can also watch movies and play mp3's on the mod.
