Nintendo DS Help needed!

Ok, this is probably going to make me sound really dumb, but we need technical help w/a nintendo ds. both DDs got one for christmas. So, I took them out of the box, attached the cord to plug it into the wall and charge it. Light is off, all charged up, unplugged from wall..can NOT unplug the cord from the DS. Is there some trick to it? Is it just new and we have to really yank it out of the there? We don't want to pull it too hard and break the new DS but its the same on both of them. Any help?

With DH's, you just pull. There's no release button or anything. Pull hard, holding onto the hard plastic part as opposed to the cord. Good luck! I got one for Christmas too!

I got one too. Just give the plug in part a good tug. It's more sturdy than it may appear to be.
