Has anyone tried this resturant? We were thinking of trying it this go round. We like Chinese food but was wondering if its like a regular take out place or more like a PF Changs? (we love PF)

We went there multiple times on our last trip, and enjoyed each time. True, we didn't make any real reservations that trip, and the main reason we ate here so many times was because it always had availability... But truly, I don't know why people pass it up - Its really rather good! And their iced tea - I forget what flavor it was, but it was to die for!

I don't ever have the dining plan, so I like the nine dragons because it is a relaxing place with more reasonably priced food. I love the pepper shrimp. I think it is as good as PF Changs. If I was on the dining plan, it wouldnt be expensive enough to waste a credit. But for OOP, I like it much better than a $40.00 buffet.

The menu looks really great. We won't be on the dining plan.

After so many trips, we tried it for the first time in November and loved it. Cool, quiet, pretty decor, attentive and friendly servers, and the food was delicious, if pricey. DH enjoyed a few glasses of the iced tea DisneySarah mentioned - I'm thinking it was raspberry?

So does anyone have any favorite menu items? or suggestion? we don't eat sea food since my wife is allergic.

We love this place! You'll find traditional dishes with the food quality of PF Changs. We've never had a bad meal from this place and the service is fabulous!

Interesting about the pricey. All but one meal is less than $22.95. That is quite a bit less than most restaurants for dinner. My family of four can eat there for less than $120.00. Biergarten for comparison costs my family $180.00 and more because I have to get a beer at he biergarten.

We really liked the fixed menu. I don't remember what it was anymore (been almost 2 years now!) but it was good, and a good value too.

Its good to know they have that there. we did that at Le Cellier the last time and it was a really great deal and good options to choose from.

We love PF Changs too, especially the soup and noodles. Nine Dragons is on the same level as that. It is usually not full and easy to walk up without a reservation. The food is good, so I am surprised more people do not eat there.

The lettuce wraps are awesome at PF Changs

It is a real Chinese Restaurant with certain limitation on what they will not serve. And all of the staff are actual Chinese on one-year visas from China.

Nine Dragons is one of our regulars, every visit we plan at least one meal there. Even bought one day park tickets to dine there the evening before our cruise! Most of my family likes the honey sesame chicken, but I always get the Kung Pao chicken and DH always picks off of it as well. It is moderately spiced, not for the timid, but very tasty. So much better than our local places. It's our arrival night meal this visit!

It looks nice. Looks like you have a good view of the lagoon also while you eat.

We love Nine Dragons! I like the Honey Sesame Chicken, my DH gets some sort of lomein and really like it. Kids love it too!

We had a not so great meal here in 09 but this past May we decided to give it another shot and we loved it! If you click on my May 11 thread there are tons of pictures and a full review.

;) DH always gets the Nine Dragons Fried Rice which can feed four people. I love the Honey Chicken. The spring egg rolls are fantastic. Easy to get into right at opening for lunch. There is also a terrific mango smoothie served at the little QS behind the main restaurant. The tea is great and so is the Ginger ice cream. We really love eating there and it is a once a year treat for us.

I have never dined there, but the interior looks beautiful as I have stuck my head in before to take a peek.
