anyone ever eat here ? thinking of trying something new have all other places booked need one more any reviews I would appreciate

We ended up eating here because we didn't have an ADR and all the other restaurants in the WS were booked. It was a typical big Chinese restaurant, as far as I could tell. Food was good, we were very grateful to get a seat. If it hadn't been for our particular situation, we wouldn't have tried it. We probably won't be going back because it didn't have that specific "WDW wow factor" for us, but certainly won't discount it if we need to eat somewhere.

Sorry it's not much of a review. We had the mabo tofu and it was really good. We are happy we tried it once, and that always makes at least one trip worth it!

We ate at Nine Dragons for the first time last year. This will be our last time unless I hear of changes taking place. The food was so-so. I love Chinese food and was disappointed in the quality of the food I received. My husband and I ordered the Honey Sesame Chicken because we heard such good things about it? It was okay, edible. The kids ordered sweet and sour chicken from the kids menu and although my kids are not big eaters there was not nearly enough food for them. The plate their meals were served on was half empty.

Nine Dragons used to be great. It had excellent food, great service and a great environment. Several years ago they changed managers and it seems to have gone down hill from there. Food and service are mediocre at best. I would definitely skip it.

Yes I would skip it. We have been in the past and thought it was pretty good- then went more recently and were disappointed. I don't usually get an MSG reaction- but we all got terrible headaches after eating here and we are assuming it was the MSG. So we will not be going back. The food was really average imho.

We ate here last in Nov 04. It was on the night of our arrival. We really felt that the quality of the food was not that great for the price. It was our least favorite meal of our vacation. I probably won't eat there again.

We ate there in July 05, same situation as Scrump, no ADR - glad to get a seat. We were very pleasantly surpised - very good food and the kids loved it. It had enough "typical chinese food" to satisfy the unadventerous type and also unique dishes that were very good. I am sorry to see the negative reviews - it is on DHs definately return list - and that is an accomplishment!
DH and I had the Sampler for Two. I would definately recommend trying it!!!

WE love 9 Dragons! Ate there 2 yrs ago after being so sock of the smae burgers, chickens strips every where It was great, we ate there twice last trip in Aug 05 with my brother and girlfriend- they loiked it also.

We ate there in December and usually make that our last meal of our trip before we head home. We love the Honey Sesame Chicken and usually each will order a plate because we don't want to share.

We ate at Nine Dragons in December, food was good but very small portions, very rushed to get eat and get out and with 4 small children and 4 adults they were not kid friendly at all. We were very disappointed with the service, I should say completely rude service! Would not go there again!

We ate there last year (Oct 05) and enjoyed our meal. I would say it was comparable to Chinese food that we eat at home, at any of the local restaurants. I would eat at Nine Dragons again.

My DS and I had dinner at Nine Dragons last June. We had the best meal of our stay! I understand some of the complaints. If you just want ordinary Chinese food that you could get locally I would not pay the prices at Nine Dragons. However, if you want to try different dishes I highly recommend them. I had a huge piece of white fish with the most delicious sauce. I don't remember what DS had but he cleaned his plate. Try some of the differnet dishes and you will be pleasantly surprised. Nine Dragons is now on our MUST list for every trip.

We ate there in December 2005. There was 12 of us (13 including an infant) and we were able to get last minute ADR's for 8pm. My DH and I split the Honey Sesame Chicken and Pepper Steak which were both delicious. I thought there was plenty of food for us to share and it turned out to be the least expensive dinner we had the whole week! We all loved it and can't wait to go back in October (all 13 of us again).
