Nine Dragons or Les Chefs de France

We are possibly going to Epcot on Mother's Day, so I would like to make a reservation just in case. I really wanted Teppan, but most restaurants are already booked. Which would you choose...Nine Dragons or Chefs? We will have 3 children with us ---looking at their menus, they would eat either.

Definitely Chefs. We ate at Nine Dragons and the food is ordinary food that you can get in any upscale Chinese restaurant at home. The place is nice and the food is good, but I like Chefs because it is different and I am not that into Chinese food.

Chefs hands-down!!!! Love the atmosphere, great food, kids seem to love this place!!!

If you haven't eaten at either I would choose Chefs. If it was me choosing, I would choose Nine dragons but only because I haven't eaten there before and I love trying new places.

Prefer Chefs de France

I don't love either restaurant but definitely prefer Chefs de France. The food is acceptable, albeit boring and unmemorable, and the atmosphere is lovely. With a little imagination, and a lot of wine, you'll almost feel like you're at a real Parisian street cafe.

Nine Dragons, meanwhile, may be my least favorite restaurant on Disney property. It's mediocre Chinese food for triple the price of the takeout joint on nearly every corner in every major American city. If a restaurant plans to charge that much, it should at least offer authentic Chinese cuisine, not the same Chinese-American junk we all eat at home. Sesame chicken tastes a lot better when you're paying $5 rather than $15.

If you do Chefs...you could *try* to book to see Remy. Kids would probably like that. It is not a guarantee, but it would be a nice bonus.

"He appears daily at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50, 5:20 PM Monday through Saturday."


I booked my meal about 40 minutes before Remy was to appear, hoping that we would be seated then...we'll see.
