Nine Dragons ---- great food, great time, unexpected treat!!!

Yes, my DD and I decided to try Nine Dragons this trip and what a nice surprise. I have never seen any reviews, positive or negative about Nine Dragons. So, I thought I would post and tell you to give it a try. We are glad that we did and will be going back. Wonderful meal, atmosphere, and service.

I'm glad you liked it! Before we went last year, I had read some bad reviews - but right before we left I read a review about their incredible honey sesame chicken - and I just had to try it. My dd's and I just loved it! The food was good, and it was peaceful and quiet during the F & W festival. (The honey chicken was verrrry delicious! I think we enjoyed it so much because my expectations weren't built up - like w/Le Cellier - I thought it wasn't that great.....maybe we just had a bad visit though......

We enjoyed the Honey Sesame Chicken too as well as General Tso's chicken. Both were great! We got the dinner sampler for 2 -- with soup, and dessert. Very enjoyable.

oh my gosh- I just posted on another thread and told them to go if it wasn't closed. We Looooove the Nine Dragons-it's usually one of the 1st places we stop.When is the refurb?It was scheduled for Jan-whenever, then it was backed up to May 1st-does any one know?I want them to be finished so we can go there on our next trip!!

I've seen the bad reviews and I think they are unfair. I've always enjoyed the Nine Dragons, especially the Peking Duck dinner for two -- give it a try, it's a real experience.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed your meal! Nine Dragons has always been one of my favorite Disney restaurants. I can't wait to see it's new look when we dine there in 2009!
