Nine Dragons Anyone?

My family and I were there in March and we really enjoyed it. I don't know what we were expecting but we had a great meal. The honey sesame chicken and fried rice were both very good. And the fried rice bowl is a huge portion!

Ate there last Wednesday the 26th. i wanted to try again to answer question on another post to see if quality had declined. We simply loved it. My wife and I had the pot stickers and spring rolls for appetizers. Followed by General Tso Chicken and Spicy Kung pao chicken. Both incredible. She had chocolate mousse and i had a red bean sorbet dish which was fantastic. (tasted similar to a strawberry sorbet).

We just ate there. While it wasn't the best Chinese we had ever had, it was very fresh and tasty with good service. You could do worse for a spot for dinner. I would check out the Coral Seas as it seems to have gotten much better recently. That is of course if you are on the dining plan. No need to pay $60 a person for the view there IMO.

When is this being rehabbe? We are hoping to book it for Dec for our CP package

I have to agree that nine dragons is underated. I think the food is unremarkable but good and most importantly my children love chinese food. They pick at the stuff on most kids menus at wdw, but here they ate and ate and ate some more. Plus it never seems crowded and the service is very friendly and so fast compared to some.

We liked it. The service is great and the restaurant is lovely. The food is inconsistent, though. One year it was fantastic. Last time we went - eh. I'd give it a go, though, you might hit it lucky~

We ate that with the dining plan and our 3 DB's 6,7,9. It would not be enough food for 2 adults and 2 kids without being light eaters all around or getting some appetizers as well. The boys each got their own meal since we were on the DP. Hope that helps.

We never thought we would eat there, but they had the only opening out of all the WS restaurants on our one ADR-less night. Needless to say, we were very grateful to be able to sit down somewhere. The food was not bad, but we probably would not go again. It was like eating at one of the nicer restaurants in your city's chinatown.

we went here last year when we couldn't get into Alfredos. it was one of the few TS meals we could get into without an ADR. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely go back.

we go on every trip and have never been disappointed, we love the food there

Along with 'Ohana, it is a tradition for us. I have noticed that with the popularity of the DDP the portions have shrunk conciderably, but the flavor is consistantly good. Honey sesame chicken is great (I have therecipe and can make it at home but it's a pain to do so :) ) and we also love the kung pao chicken, but it is quite spicey so be warned.

Their hot and sour soup is not bad, although I cheated the last time I had it and doctored it with a couple of packages of vinegar I had picked up from the fish and chips place in England, which perked up its taste considerably. My 5 year old daughter who is adopted from China loves this restaurant and we eat here every trip to WDW. I like their tofu dish for dinner. We get a hot and sour soup for each of us and the tofu dish which we share and we are happy campers. It's lots of fun for us to go there because the cast members are usually very nice and happy to see our daughter.

I liked the food there! The honey chicken was great, as were the appetizers and fried rice. I think it's an overlooked restaurant - we were able to do a walk-in on one of our trips with no wait (because it often gets poor reviews). But I like it!

My family picks this one every time we go to Disney. We like the food and service is always good for us. My kids love it too.

I must say, my husband and I also love Nine Dragons. It's one of our must-do's. My favorites are the Sha Cha Beef Skewers (appetizer) and the Honey Sesame Chicken (entree). Really yummy!
