I would love to try Crocs but the Beach style that is available at Nordstroms just doesn't seem to fit. I wear an 81/2. The 8 is tight and the 9 is huge. Can anyone give me advice about the Niles? I'm thinking open toe might fit better. Thanks.

Although the 9 is huge, that is probably the size you are supposed to wear.
The crocs website says to leave a 1/2 inch all the way around your foot. It goes against conventional wisdom but the shoes are so light they don't move around on your feet like other shoes.
When I ordered my Niles the sales rep told me they were true to size and that I should not order larger. The orginal crocs were supposed to be ordered larger. I hated the niles but thats just me, they rubbed my upper foot and I didn't like the feeling. I don't like the look of the original crocs and I don't like the new sandals b/c there is rubber between the toes. I just went back to my good ol Rainbow sandals.
Thanks everyone. Dick's had some in 8-9 but my toe was still against the shoe. I like the look of Niles but I'm worried about how comfortable they are. Everyone said that Crocs form to your foot but I'm not sure the Niles will do it.
