I just ordered my D80,with the 18-135, from Beach Camera.
Thank you all for your help and ideas. I think the 18-135 will just about cover everything I need, I already have to 50/1.8 so am covered for low light shots.
Later I will get a VR for the aerial photography. Looking forward to playing with this in the World.
