We were looking into this Nike+ thing. Can we share it or can it only be used for one person? Does the program allow for setting up for more than one person?

Thanks!

I'm interested if anyone might have an answer. DS just got his and the LaceLids came in this week.

Sorry guys its not available for 2 people. you can use the same ipod if you use 2 systems. Sorry I wish. well we are on the nike + topic i was wondering if you use nike special sneakers or if you use a shoe pouch or how you put the red thing with your shoe. thanks guys

I don't even use the pouch - I sewed a velcro patch to the tongue of my shoe. But I may get a pouch because I didn't think about what would happen if it rains.
Not only can you not share a sensor, but you cannot have 2 sensors. Which is kind of a bummer for me since I want to leave a pair of shoes at the gym and keep one at home. It works out OK for me since my sensor is easily accessible velcroed to the top of my shoe.
Other than that I'm really happy with the system, particularly because I can't use my Garmin for running inside on the treadmill. It would be nice if it would pick up work on the elliptical or even the stairclimber, but oh well.

This may be the answer to my question, but what happens when 2 people with Nike + are running together. Nothing happens to the signals. Are the sensors coded to their receiving units?

I order everything ipod included yesterday and can't wait to get it.

The sensor in your shoe is linked to the receiver on your ipod. There's no interference from other sensors.

Enjoy your new Nike+! It's really fun.

Why can't two Nike Pluses work with the saw ipod? Bummer!
So if both DH and myself bought the kit and each had our own sensors and ran at different times, we couldn't take turns using the same ipod?

So, in other words we'd have to buy TWO ipods and two kits??? Cranky. I guess I won't bother and DH can just get one.

We were looking at refurbed ipods since we both already have Creative MP3s.

No, according to the manual, you can share the ipod if you each have a kit. I don't know how that works for uploading your data.
My point was that I can't have one sensor in my gym shoes and one sensor in my home shoes because that will be two separate users.
