My husband and I are doing an adult only trip in early December. We have seen the nighttime shows at the parks and have seen Cirque and the Blue Man group. Any other suggestions for evening entertainment? We are staying at Disney, but could also do Citywalk.

Have you seen the Star Wars Fireworks at DHS? Those are relatively new. I hear they are great! There's always a bunch of live music and stuff going on at Disney Springs too, but that will vary.

what do you like doing? there's usually music at house of blues or other places around springs. Many love jelly rolls at boardwalk. there is all of central florida just outside of property.. maybe the dr phillips art center that disney built has a show or performance you want to see... (not a far taxi/uber and short drive). If your drinkers then abracabar in boardwalk is new and interesting, trader sams in poly is a unique experience. there are some interesting dinner shows not too far off property..

the holiday show at epcot is nice if you've never done it and worth doing more than once if you have. I think it's called candlelight processional or somethign like that... you could probably make an evening out of touring the monorail resorts and wilderness lodge to see their holiday setups (giant gingerbreads, largest tree on property), etc.. hoop de doo review is an interesting dinner theater at ft wilderness experience..

I can't speak much for universal, I've barely been there.. but it's helpful to know what your interested in and what type of traveling your really willing to do because disney or universal.

edit to add: gaylord palms is very close to property and their ICE exhibit will be started by december (they give you a coat, it's a winterland made of ice, don't know this years theme). See if swan or dolphin has anythign interesting on the calendar also, around here they do something like their own mini 1 night food and wine show.

Both Disney and Universal have dinner Polynesian shows. Not quite BMG or Cirque, but interesting if you've never done one before. For adults only, I always say head to Citywalk and see what is going on.

Thanks all for the suggestions! We will not have a car this trip, but my husband is a frequent Uber user, so that's an option to get to Citywalk. I am also looking into a show at House of Blues.

Accident- To be more specific, we are looking for more adult entertainment. Music is good and so is drinking! We are staying at Beach Club, but can Uber it to anywhere close by. I'm definitely going to check out Jellyrolls online today! Thanks for the suggestion! We are taking the kids for a week to Fort Wilderness in 2017, so I am saving shows like the one at the Polynesian or the Hoop Dee Doo for that trip.
