Nighttime ride wait times

We'd love to ride some rides at MK at night for the first time. What are the wait times during mid-June at MK at night? Are the wait times manageable/reasonable during 9:00-10:30 while the parade and fireworks occur? If we know we'd like to go this route should we allocate a couple of our fast passes for this time? I'd like to keep them during the afternoon, but would hate to head to MK late to feel I wasted my time to stand in line forever. If that's the case, we'd rather take an afternoon break (which we never do) and save the fast passes for the evening.

Thanks!

cant say for your time frame, but last march on our second MK day, we skipped the fireworks and got on to Pirates, Haunted Man, BTMR and Tea Cups in under 10min. most very quick.

Im going next week and we are doing 16 hours at MK, pm me and i'll let you know what they were like

Evening hours at MK (fireworks and later) are some of the shortest wait times, along with first thing in the morning at rope drop. While the fireworks are going on, most of the park is watching and not doing the rides. Once the show is over, the park empties drastically from people who have been there all day and just waiting it out until after the fireworks. You can ride on many rides with little to no wait (10 mins or less as PP mentioned). The best part about going in the summer time is the amazingly late hours MK usually has. If the fireworks are at 10:00 and the park is sometimes open until 12:00 or 1:00 am then you are looking at 2-3 solid hours of fun ride time with limited wait if you can stay late...that's one of my fave things to do when possible.

Regarding when to use your FP, I would not waste them on a late night timeframe because the lines are already very short as described above (at least in my experiences and I go relatively often). A better use of the pass is to use them late morning/afternoon when the park gets filled up and the lines become much longer. Then you get on quicker during peak times with the FP and also quicker due to low crowds at off peak times (rope drop am and fireworks later pm) in Standby line.

Have a fun time :)

I love skipping the parade and FW to ride rides at night. We did this the weekend before Easter and all the rides in FL were walkons! It's also fun to ride BTMR at night! You'll love it

We normally do not rope drop and just stay for late nights instead. EMH nights are particularly nice, because by midnight there are pretty much no lines anywhere.

Another fun experience is to skip the parade and fireworks but catch the second running of MSEP. While everyone is ready to fight each other over spots for the first one, the second one rarely even has a full front row. There are often no other viewers within 10 feet of us when we catch the second one. This also typically means more character interaction from the characters.

Last week was my wife's birthday and she had a button on during the parade. We were, once again, the only ones in a certain area, so tons of characters in the parade wished her a happy birthday. Alice, included...which is her favorite. She almost had a mental breakdown. Was definitely one of the coolest experiences we have had with the MSEP.

Normally at night the lines are very short. IF you want to skip the parade and FWs you can walk on tons of rides. I remember getting off of Buzz last June and then getting right back on it. No Wait. Plus if you can stay through the common late Afternoon Thunderstorms that happen that time of year, the crowd will go way down.

I normally go for evening EMH and love it. There is a different feel to the park. But for some reason Peter Pan always had a line & that was pre FP+.

One of my favorite times to be in MK to ride rides is at night during the parade and fireworks. If we go on a five night vacation at least 3 nights we are in MK. One we enjoy the fireworks the rest we ride. We have done this several times in June and had minimal waits for most rides. As someone mentioned earlier Peter Pan is the exception. I know we have walked on Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain and the Teacups.
