I have been a couple of times to the Nights of JOy. I will tell you that both of us are christians. I am not going to say to much, because the last time I said what I thought I was lambasted on these boards.

The park is really full. A lot of the churches in the area bus in kids to give them the experience of a Christian Night. That is where the problem lies. No control over the kids and that is all I am going to say about that subject.

The music is great. Each time we have left for the evening we were given a free CD of one of the performers there. They usually have several different preformers located throughout the park. Of course they have special merchandise for sale with the Night of Joy on them as well as special Pins if you are into pin collecting.

I hopt this helps

webmomom & Eeyoreluver....thanks for your input. I'm hoping to get more from others as well. So far all I've been told...is lots of unsupervised kids...running wild. We are having our last two days in the area on Thursday and Friday. So far we have planned on doing either Sea World or Universal on Thursday then have a last day at WDW on Friday. But I was thinking since both SW and US close early (between 5 & 6) we could go back and do Nights of Joy on Thursday...or extend our day Friday and do Nights of Joy Friday night. You say it is busy?? Do you know if it is busy throughout the day also? Or is it mainly durring the event? I can't imagine it beeing busier at night than it is all day....but I could be wrong.

Hoping to find out more.

The park is closed for this event. Only ticket holders can get in. If you are in the park during the day the park will close and reopen only for ticket holders.

All most all of the Night of JOy nights have in the past been sold out. Yes it is very full of people. Much fuller than during the day.

Since alot of the churches in the area send buses full of people they only come at night, so during the day it is mostly vacationiers.

DW, DD 19, DS 12, and I went last year and loved it. We didn't see any of the out of control kids I read about, but we were there strictly for the music. I have read that if you stay in the area of the concerts it is not too bad, but if you want to go on rides it gets crazy. So my suggestion would be if you love christian music and want to attend the concerts go. But if you want to go on rides I would stay away.
