Nightmare Before Christmas decorations

This fall I moved in my very first apartment on my own with my wonderful boyfriend of 7 years. I LOVE decorating for holidays. Mainly Halloween and Christmas. I had some delusions of grandeur when it came to halloween this year and ended up with one dinky sting of orange lights on my balcony and some gel clings on my windows. I'm planning to ramp it up in time for a halloween party on saturday though. SOrry I'm rambling....

Anywho, Now i feel like I have to make up for the total fail that was my Halloween decorations with Christmas. My boyfriend and I are HUGE fans of Nightmare Before Christmas. Last year I want to buy him a set of christmas ornaments we saw at the disney store for when we have our own christmas tree but when I went to buy them they we're all gone.

I just went on the disney website looking for halloween stuff and found them smack on the home page!! I got so excited my stomach did a summer salt.
I'm going to order them this weekend we I get paid to make sure I have them. This also gave me an idea. I'm going to do a whole Nightmare Before Christmas theme with my decorating. It will be so awesome. I'm quite crafty so I think I will end up making a lot of things myself. Just had to share my little story. I apologize for being so long winded.

I bought the figures and will be drilling a loop into the top of them to make into tree ornaments. They should be here Tuesday and I'm very excited! Doing an entire Disney tree this year! My husband has a Steelers tree (I made the ornaments) so the Disney one is for me to enjoy. I'll have DH do the drilling while I work on other ornaments, so it'll be something crafty we can do together.

We built a paper 3d model of the Haunted Mansion for the fall/Halloween decor. Got it online for free from Haunted Dimensions.

But of course. I love sharing pictures with people here on the DIS!!
I was at the Disney store Thursday and the NBC christmas balls were in stock so I bought them!! I was so excited. I also decided I'm going to paint a card board cut-out of Jack in the sleigh with the skeleton reindeer to go on my balcony. We'll see what other things I can come up with. Need to get a x-mas tree first though.
