Nightmare Before Christmas at HM

When do they put up the Nightmare Before Christmas decorations at HM? I want to plan a trip with my daughter next year and I would love to see this. I love the movie and have lots of NBC stuff.

This year they were up for the start of the Halloween celebration, Sept 29. We have always gone in Oct and have always seen the HM done up this way. Ds doesn't even know that it is suppose to be any other way!! LOL!! I would say you would be safe with any time in Oct.

The "Nightmare" overlay has always been in place by the first weekend in October, so if you plan a trip for any time after the first Friday in October (through the first or second weekend in January) you should be able to see it. Of course, every year there are always rumors that they won't do it that year...but it's SO popular that it's hard to imagine they wouldn't!

My absolute favorite time to see the HM. Love Jack Skellington decorations. They are up now according to the newsletter email just received today.

Saw them yesterday! Took my DS5 and DD1 and they loved them. It is not as 'creepy' as it would usually be and people aren't screaming like ususal..

If you are planning a trip in 2007, note that NBC aka HMH is not a given. There was debate whether DL would continue to do this in 2006, and they decided to do it. I understand that it is negotiated with the NBC director Tim Burton, so Disney does not have a lock on using NBC.
