I've gotten waay too comfy with auto mode...I really want to get some cool nighttime shots of the city and at Epcot...so what's the best setting? I usually to P mode and crank up the ISO...but I know there's a better way to do it and get sharper images. I already have a tripod and will use that. Any tips??

I would say the quick answer is use the tripod, and remote shutter release or the self timer to avoid any shake, keep the ISO low for better colors and play around with the time you keep the shutter open. Try fairly short like 1 second and then try 4 seconds or more. The reults will vary, but it's subjective as to wheter you like more motion blur or less. And since it's digital you can get instant feedback.

This was taken from a mini tripod on a trash can. 1.3 second exposure at 100 ISO F 2.8.
